Best Time to Visit Thamsar Pass Trek:
The ideal time for this trek is between June and October when the region experiences mild snowfall and rains. During monsoon, the green landscapes are at their most vibrant, offering a breathtaking backdrop for trekkers.

Itinerary
Arrive at Bir in the morning and meet your trek leader and group. From Bir, drive approximately 74 km to Rajgundha, a charming remote village surrounded by natural beauty. After reaching Rajgundha, explore the valley, enjoy the serene atmosphere, and capture beautiful moments. Overnight stay at the campsite in Rajgundha.
After breakfast, begin your trek from Rajgundha to Palachak, covering a distance of 9 km. The trail takes you through verdant meadows, dense forests, and streams. Palachak is known for its stunning landscapes and offers panoramic views of mountain ranges. Enjoy the evening at the campsite with tea and local exploration.
Start your day with a hearty breakfast and trek 14 km to Panhartu. Along the way, witness lush greenery, rocky terrains, and the mesmerizing Johdi waterfall. Take breaks to soak in the beauty of nature and capture the scenic surroundings. Panhartu, situated at an altitude of around 3,300 meters, provides breathtaking views and an authentic Himalayan experience.
Begin an early morning trek to Thamsar Pass, ascending gradually through meadows and valleys. At an altitude of 4,800 meters, Thamsar Pass offers awe-inspiring views of the Greater Himalayas. Spend time at the summit before descending back to Panhartu. Celebrate your achievement with the group and enjoy the final night of camping.
On the last day, trek back to Rajgundha, retracing your steps through the lush trails. After reaching Rajgundha, drive back to Bir and bid farewell to your trekking group. Depart from Bir with unforgettable memories of the Thamsar Pass Trek.
