Dev Roopa is one of those treks in the world which is untouched by trekkers. Very few people know about this trek. Dev Roopa trek is located near the Malana Village in Himachal Pradesh. Dev Roopa Trek is also known as 'Descent of God' because the land is full of beautiful grasslands, mesmerizing waterfalls, and so many fields which are also home to many animals. The Dev Roopa trek is relatively steeper than others. The Dev Roopa is a beautiful place, and it is said that the total area measures equal to 5 football grounds. Also, there are many zig-zag water streams, making the overall experience even more beautiful. When you see these water streams and the beautiful nature with your own eyes, you will be awestruck.
The only challenge which comes with this trek is the high altitude, which is why you need to be fit if you are taking this trek. Only people above 18 years of age are allowed for this trek.

Itinerary

Upon arriving at Kasol, the Broza Adventures team will meet you, and all participants will undergo registration procedures. The journey starts with a 26 km drive to Waichin Valley, followed by a short trek to Magic Village. Along the way, remember to follow local rules, such as obtaining permission before taking pictures and refraining from hunting or burning wood. After reaching Magic Village, enjoy the scenic beauty before settling in for the night.

The trek begins early after breakfast, moving from Magic Village to Mota Grahan, the base camp. The trail passes through dense pine forests, beautiful waterfalls, and scenic valleys. After reaching Mota Grahan, the day is spent exploring the valley, followed by an evening bonfire. Camp overnight.

After breakfast, the trek continues from Mota Grahan to Bogdi. The route features lush green forests, pristine streams, and sacred landscapes revered by locals. A lunch break will be followed by further trekking to Bogdi, where participants will camp for the night.

• Trail Type: Steep, normal, with water crossings
The highlight of the trek begins with a journey from Bogdi to Dev Roopa, a sacred and scenic location. Known for its lush meadows, forests, and panoramic views, Dev Roopa also holds religious significance, believed to be the site where Lord Hanuman found the Sanjivani Booti in the Ramayana. After spending time at Dev Roopa, return to Bogdi Campsite for the night.

On the final day, descend from Bogdi to Waichin Valley, followed by a drive back to Kasol. Participants can visit the holy Manikaran Sahib for a dip in its relaxing waters before concluding the trek.
